The same record, two useful views
CA control and client clarity are different views of the same work, not two disconnected systems.
The practice needs control
The CA team needs to see open requests, ownership, deadlines, review state and the work waiting on a client. That view helps the practice decide what needs attention next.
The client needs clarity
The client does not need the whole practice workspace. The client needs to know what was requested, which files to send, where to upload them and what happens after the upload.
These are different interfaces participating in one history. The difference is useful when the underlying record stays connected.
Reduce the translation layer
When the CA and client work from separate versions of the truth, every handoff creates another opportunity for context to disappear. A shared record reduces that translation layer while keeping each view focused.
The goal is not to give everyone more software. It is to give each person a clearer next action.
